1、 The Concept of Pearlescent Pigments

This is because pearlescent pigments are different from traditional pigments in that they do not produce color through the absorption of light, but rather exhibit a colorful luster and color through the interference of light. The basic component of pearlescent pigments is mica, not titanium dioxide, so they cannot be considered as pigments and products based on titanium dioxide.

According to the "Catalogue of Customs Import and Export Commodity Norms Declaration of the People's Republic of China (2022)", when importing pearlescent pigments under tax number 3206.49, the declaration elements mainly include: 1. product name; 2. Component content; 3. Purpose; 4. Packaging specifications; 5. Model; 6. Brand (Chinese or foreign name); 7. If radioactive salts are added, please indicate the specific level of radioactivity.
It is worth noting that "purpose" refers to the aspect and scope of the product's application; The 'component content' should be filled in with the specific type and content of the chemical substance; Packaging specification "refers to the individual packaging method and specifications of a product, such as" 5 kilograms per barrel ".
