2、 Common declaration errors
1. Preparation or preservation methods (fresh, cold, frozen)
Definition of elements: Refers to the specific production or preservation methods of a product, which vary depending on the requirements of each tax purpose.
For example, items under tax heading 0203 should be reported as "fresh", "cold", or "frozen". "Cold" and "frozen" are different storage methods, corresponding to different product numbers. Some enterprises mistakenly declared as "frozen", confusing the concept and failing to truthfully declare.
2. Processing method (whole head, half head; with or without bone)
Element Definition: Refers to the specific cutting method, which varies according to the requirements of different tax purposes.
For example, enterprises can declare "whole head", "half head", "non whole head non half head", "with bone", and "bone removal".
3. Brand (Chinese and foreign names)
Element Definition: Refers to the brand logo added by the manufacturer or distributor to the product, which actually requires the declaration of Chinese and foreign brand names.
For example, it can be declared as a "Tyson" brand. Brands need to declare both Chinese and foreign language brands. For those with only a single Chinese (or foreign language) brand, they should truthfully declare the Chinese (or foreign language) brand and indicate that there are no foreign language (or Chinese) brands, and cannot simply declare as "none".
4. Individual weight
Element Definition: Refers to the weight of a single product or the quantity of products per weight unit.
Individual weight differs from packaging specifications.
For example, it can be declared as "14-17 pieces/pound", "0.5-1 kg/piece", etc; Cannot be declared as' 40 kg/box '.
